2025/2026 Travel Invite Information
*Please email programdir@glastonburysoccer.org if you have any questions*
Invites will start going out Monday 6/9
There are a few important things to keep in mind before accepting. Please read everything carefully:
- We have up to 4 sets of teams in some age groups and they go as follows:
- Blue
- White
- Red
- Green
- The first round of invites go out to the Blue teams. We go team by team and try to get as many out as possible. However, some Blue teams may take a day or two to get out.
- After the Blue teams are completely done, then the White team invites go out and so on.
- This process can take up to 3-4 weeks. We give each family 48 hours to decide once their invite is received. We ask that everyone respects this process and stays patient.
- You will be communicated with no matter what. You will either receive an invite or a letter notifying you otherwise.
- If you DO NOT hear from us by July 1st, then you can reach out!
REMINDER - DOUBLE ROSTERING POLICY:
- YTL and U9 DOUBLE ROSTERING POLICY: Effective Fall 2025-Spring 2026 travel year, YTL and U9 players may not double roster with another soccer club team/program. Participation in other sports is encouraged, but double rostering on another soccer team is not permitted for YTL and U9 players. YTL and U9 players that double roster with another soccer club/team at any time during the 2025-2026 season will be subject to removal from his/her GHSC travel team, without refund of fees paid.
- U10-U15 DOUBLE ROSTERING POLICY: Players in U10-U15 age groups are permitted to roster with another soccer club team, however, GHSC requests that you ensure you can fulfill the commitments to our program before accepting a position on one of our teams. While permitted for U10-U15 players, Hartwell does not encourage double-rostering for many reasons, including social impact on the team, volume and frequency of practices/games conflicts (“burnout”), and conflicts in instruction style or style of play. Hartwell players who are double-rostering on other soccer teams and who do not comply with GHSC's Team Commitment Requirement outlined above will be subject to removal from his/her GHSC travel team, without refund of fees paid.
- HARTWELL SPRING WARMUP DOUBLE ROSTERING POLICY: Notwithstanding the Double Rostering policies above, GHSC does not permit GHSC players to play or otherwise double roster during the GHSC Warmup Tournament for another club that is also playing in GHSC Warmup Tournament. GHSC players are expected to play all Warmup Tournament games with their Hartwell team during the annual GHSC Spring Warmup Tournament (held in April).
REMINDER - VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT:
- Accepting a Travel position means that your family is required to help out for three hours during our Hartwell Spring Warmup Tournament. Each family is required to help out for three hours PER child they have in the Travel program.
